The Königliches Kurhaus Bad Elster was built between 1888 and 1890, the year of the German Three Emperors. The almost completely preserved design of the palace-like complex in the center of the royal grounds is a special feature and rarity of supra-regional value. The Königliches Kurhaus as a “Haus des Gastes” with its central location in the heart of Bad Elster opposite the venerable Albert Bad and the historic König Albert Theater is today, in addition to a contemporary event venue, above all an attractive congress and conference building.
